Alexandra "Sandra" Grilikhes (1933 - February 8, 2003) was a lesbian poet, writer, and teacher. Her novel Yin Fire was published in 2001 by Haworth Press. She was Director of the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School of Communications Library for close to thirty years, and for twelve years was editor and publisher of a literary journal, American Writing: A Magazine, which ceased publishing in 2002. She also hosted literary radio programs in Philadelphia.

Grilikhes died of breast cancer on February 8, 2003, at age 70. She lived in of Roxborough, PA, and Cape May, NJ. She was survived by Dr. Elizabeth Weiss, her partner of 20 years. A Memorial Service was held on March 2, 2003, at Congregation Mishkan Shalom, 4101 Freeland Av. at Shurs Ln., Mnyk, 19127.
