Benn Howard was administrator, dancer, and choreographer of the Elle
Johnson Dance Co. in Los Angeles. He died of AIDS complication on August 7,
1994.
Elle Johnson passed away at 83 years old on March 10, 2006. She
is remembered as a choreographer whose ethnic dance motifs permeated her work
with the eponymous Elle Johnson Dance Company.
Benn Howard appeared on
a magazine photospread on Playmen, April 1971. Elle Johnson and Howard dance
completely and stunningly naked among the harsh Californian desert dunes. The
photo shot is of famous '70 male and females nude photographer David Bruce
Rawcliffe.
