Carlos Miguel Suárez Radillo (September 22, 1919 - April 18, 2002) was a Cuban writer who moved to Madrid in the 1950s. In addition to publishing a series of travel books, he wrote extensively on theater. He had an extensive personal library on Cuban theater. His apartment in the old part of Madrid included a vast dining table on which he spread books and magazines for examination. An eccentric character, he could leave messages on his answering machine, which humorously announced, "My lord and master is not at home."
