Partner Jacoba van Tongeren

Cornelia Christina "Nel" Wateler (October 15, 1886, Driebergen, Driebergen-Rijsenburg, Utrechtse Heuvelrug, Utrecht, Netherlands - December 26, 1971, Obdam, Koggenland, North Holland, Netherlands) worked as a nurse in Tuberculosis Control. In addition to being Jacoba van Tongeren's partner, she was also her caretaker and guardian of her health due to Jacoba's tuberculosis in the past. Nel was often the alternate link between the Group members and interested parties if visitors were not to go beyond the front door when Jacoba focused on other things such as planning activities.

Cornelia Christina Wateler was the daughter of Henricus Martinus Wateler and Maria Susanna Weber.
