Dixie Lee Ruliffson (December 16, 1943 - July 16, 2007) was an active member of the Greater St. Louis GLBT
community. In addition to a successful auto detailing business, The Polish
Shop, Dixie co-owned the Char-Pei Lounge in Belleville, Illinois and
Char-Pei's City Center in E. St. Louis, Ill. She was actively involved in
the Metropolitan Community Church. Dixie was the long time partner and
companion of Brenda J. Grissom.
