Emily G. "Sissy" Seaman (1883 - September 7, 1973) was the sister of Katherine Seaman Beck. In 1929, Beth Grover, age 19, arrived at The Cats, Los Gatos, riding in Sissy Seaman's roadster with pigskin seats.

When Kitty died, Sissy was hired by C. E. S. Wood, Kitty's lover, to write the biography of Wood’s father, the first surgeon general of the U.S. Navy, but she never completed it.

Kitty Beck was the main beneficiary of Wood's will, and when Beck died in 1924, Emily G. Seaman inherited it, "for her use and benefit so long as she shall live, and on her death, that is to say, on the death of the latest survivor of these two beneficiaries, to distribute said principal sum equally among my five children".
