Queer Places:

Eula Seeley Garrison (August 27, 1876 - 1951) lived with Rachel Crothers in an elegant house in Danbury, CT, for 45 years. Garrison was kept more or less out of sight in Connecticut, and she did not share apartments with Crothers in New York City.

Eula Seeley was born on August 27, 1876, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Leonard Perrin Seeley and Mary Gordon.

Garrison's daughter, Angeline G. Hoagland, who occasionally performed secretarial work for Crothers, was the sole beneficiary of Crothers' estate. Angeline G. Hoagland donated Crothers’ materials to the Museum of the City of New York.
