Frederick D. "Fritz" Bell (1932 - April 3, 2015) was a pioneer in the field of education.

Frederick D. Bell was born in Montclair, N.J., in 1932. He was a graduate of Westtown Friends School, Earlham College and the University of Michigan. In 1972 he founded Creative Classrooms Inc., a nonprofit organization working with schools, businesses and families on effective listening, communication and better understanding of learning styles, multiple intelligences and brain compatible learning. In the 1980s, he joined with Lesley University to offer a master's of education degree in creative arts in learning at Walnut Hill, an off-campus site for the university. He received the Gordon Lawrence Award for the constructive use of psychological type in education.

Bell was clerk of West Epping Friends (Quaker) Meeting, and co-facilitator of the New Hampshire Coalition of Lesbians and Gay Men.

Fritz Bell died on April 3, 2015, in Ghent, Belgium, age 82. He is survived by his husband, William Fregosi.
