Jim Quixley (1931-1991) was the head librarian at Glendon College, York University, Toronto. He was one of a group of openly gay Canadians interviewed by Weekend Magazine in 1977 in an article on homosexuality. He wrote the book Willy won't fly (1978), a children's story. Jim died of AIDS-related complications.
