John Hugh Chadwyck-Healey (July 23, 1922 – December 27, 2014) was born on 23 July 1922. He was the son of Oliver Nowell Chadwyck-Healey and Gwendoline Mary Charrington, and grandson of Charles Chadwyck-Healey, 1st Baronet. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire. He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade. He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded. He was an opera house technical director. He married John Copley on 10 February 2006 in a civil partnership marriage. He died on 27 December 2014 at age 92.
