Juliette Bisson married at 18, in 1879, Alexandre Bisson (1848-1912), then official at the Ministère de l'Instruction Publique.
Bisson had a sexual relationship with a woman 25 years her younger, Eva Carrière (1886-1943), with whom she performed during her seances.[9] In 1909, Marthe Béraud had changed her name to Eva Carrière (Eva C) to hide the fraud of her past and began a new career as a psychic.[8]
Bisson died at her country estate, La Boule, Bordeaux.
