Mabelle Stuart Walker (April 21, 1890 - November 7, 1966) was a social worker and President of the Richmond Psychological Association. According to the 1940 census, she lived together with Ethel Pilcher at 1774 Chuckatuck Petersburg, Petersburg City, Virginia.
She was the daughter of Rev. John Randolph Walker (1850–1917) and Mary Jane Brown (1851–1933). Mabelle Walker taught in the public schools of Wytheville, Virginia, after receiving her degree at Martha Washington College, Abingdon, VA. In 1924 she taught at Lehigh University, where she was instructor in the psychological department of the university summer school. She retained a home in Wytheville, on West Main Street, and spent a portion of the summers in Wytheville, her native hometown.
Later in life she moved to Philadelphia, where she died of an heart attack at 76 years old. She was owner and operator of the M. Stuart Walker Clinic School, in Philadelphia. This school which she had operated for several years gained national recognition, Miss Walker was cited several times for her outstanding work with children at the clinic, and the remarkable results obtained from the clinic-school.
