Perry Lane Waters (March 1, 1932 - June 24, 1973) was a Metaire dentist who
provided free care to those in need. He was enjoying drinks with a friend at
the UpStairs Lounge the night of the fire and he died there. Dr. Perry Lane Waters was also a member of the MCC congregation and his records were used to identify many of the victims.
Perry Lane Waters Jr. was born in New Orleans, the son of Perry Lane and Gertrude W. Waters. He obtained a Bachelor Degree of Science in 1954 at Spring Hill College. He was a member of the Catholic Church, World War II veteran and was a Captain in the Air Force.
