Steve Callahan (born August 8, 1967) grew up in Columbus, Ohio, where he received his B.A. in Theatre from The Ohio State University.
After winning Best Supporting Actor at the Tampa International Gay Film Festival for the film Nine Lives, Steve has become a regular on the gay film circuit. He was last seen on screen starring in East Side Story, winner of the 2009 GLAAD Award. He also appears in Christmas comedy Make the Yuletide Gay from Guest House Films and the suspense thriller Pornography.
For the past three years, Steve has played Judas Iscariot in the Off Broadway revival and International Tour of Terrence McNally's play "Corpus Christi". The play has received international acclaim, including winning the Dublin Ireland Theatre Festival.
Steve had a series regular role in the web series "WeHo" (written and directed by Nic Arnzen) as Gunther, the not so bright, sexually ambiguous personal trainer.
On the set of Pornography he has met Matthew Montgomery. Steve Callahan and his real-life partner since 2007 Matthew Montgomery have played lead roles together in Rob Williams's film Role/Play. They married in 2015.
