Edward Ross Weigle aka Churchill Ross (January 29, 1901 – May 23, 1962) was an actor and writer, known for College Humor (1933), The Collegians (1926) and The Last Lap (1926). He acted in silent films with Universal in the mid-1920s.
Edward Ross Weigle was born on January 29, 1901 in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Edward John Adam Weigle and Mary Barr Ross.
In the 1940s he worked for Robert Ransom. At this time, his main point of contact was Lloyd Pantages.
Along with partner Don Dillaway, was manager and host of Billingsley's Steak Ranch in Van Nuys California in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
He died on May 23, 1962 in Los Angeles, California.
